This is a draft. It was written from what we could find, and the people who were there know more. Please correct or add to it.

Lexington residents recently came together on a community flag: a blue horse on a white field. It was made by the community rather than adopted by the city government.

We don't have an image or the details yet.

What we still need to learn

  • Who designed it, and who organized the effort
  • When it was introduced, and how people chose it
  • What the horse and the colors mean
  • Whether the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has considered it
  • A good image of the flag
